Tony Salmon writes from the ranch, the barn, the firehouse, old memories, hard faith, and the quiet places where words finally come.
“Some songs are not chased. They are carried.”
Why this place exists
01 · Music
Country, gospel, memory, grief, humor, and faith. Some songs waited years before they were shared. They waited until the time felt right.
The sound
These songs work best when they feel like someone sat down, quit trying to impress the room, and told the truth. The voice has changed over the years. The reason for singing has not.
02 · Books
Faith, Bible study, ranch life, western fiction, memory, grief, family, and the ordinary things that carry more truth than we notice at first.

03 · Ranchman
The Ranchman devotionals are short writings about God, work, patience, loss, mercy, and the lessons that show up while doing ordinary things.
God does not throw away every bent thing. Sometimes He uses it to remind us where strength really comes from.
Patience is not doing nothing. Sometimes patience is staying ready without making more noise than the moment needs.
Some of the most important work never gets seen from the road. Faith is that way too.
04 · About
Wak Nakni is the creative home for Tony Salmon’s music and writing. It is built around truth, story, and the hope that something honest may reach the person who needs it.
Tony has spent his life around cattle, fields, fire service, family, loss, and faith. He started writing young, and the words never really stopped.
The voice changed, but the songs stayed.
Some songs were written decades ago. Some are new. Some come from faith. Some come from loss. Some come from the ranch, the firehouse, family, or things that were never easy to say out loud at the time.
